What You’ll Do
Premier Therapy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support skilled therapy services in a skilled nursing/rehab setting. This role exists to help patients improve mobility, function, and independence through high-quality, plan-based treatment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver PTA treatment interventions as directed by the evaluating PT
- Document care clearly and on time to support continuity and outcomes
- Coordinate with the rehab team and facility partners to ensure safe, consistent care
- Maintain a patient-centered approach that supports quality of life and progress toward goals
Required qualifications/skills:
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in good standing
- Experience or interest in skilled nursing/rehab
- Strong communication, organization, and clinical follow-through

A Typical Day
You’ll start by reviewing your schedule and current patient goals, then spend most of the day in the therapy gym and resident rooms providing hands-on care and encouragement. Between sessions, you’ll connect briefly with teammates to stay aligned on progress and plan adjustments, and you’ll wrap up with timely notes so the next touchpoint is seamless for each resident.
