Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: York PA - York, PA 17406Salary Range: $92,960.00 - $145,250.00 SalarySupervisory Responsibilities: Oversee the work of technicians and mechanics, ensuring they follow proper procedures and safety protocols. Monitor and Evaluate Performance: Regularly assess employee performance and provide feedback to help them improve. Training and Development: Train new employees and provide ongoing training to existing staff to keep their skills up to date. Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations. Partner with HR for discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. Responsibilities/Job Duties: Manage the Rebuild shop to utilize manpower best and meet customer requirements. Work with the factory and service department to meet customer needs. Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure all work meets the required standards. Ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained and in good working condition. Coordinate job scheduling and manage workflow to ensure the timely completion of projects. Ensure the shop complies with all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among employees. Effectively communicate with management, other departments, and team members to ensure smooth operations. Assist with cost estimates and budget planning for rebuilding shop projects. Assist customers in resolving warranty issues and provide the necessary documentation. Process part orders for compressor rebuilds. Source and acquired parts and materials essential for compressor work. Assist with compressor rebuilding quotes and proposal writing. Maintain customer relationships. Performs other duties as assigned. QualificationsRequirements: Ability to guide rebuilding techs. Knowledge of the Industrial Refrigeration Service business Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate technical issues to a non-technical audience. Proven ability to work independently and confidently, with limited discretion, and to self-proof his/her work. Excellent problem-solving skills PC literate and proficient in Excel and Word   Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. A degree is desirable but not required; industry experience is very important. Minimum of three years’ experience in Industrial Refrigeration as a successful compressor rebuilder     Physical Requirements: Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low. Must be able to lift 75 pounds at a time. Must be able to travel 50% time of the time.
