We are seeking a dynamic Associate Account Manager to join our team in the fast-paced trade show industry. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Senior Account Manager in coordinating all aspects of our client's trade show participation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with internal departments to manage all aspects of a client's trade show participation; make sure projects are on track and that deadlines are being met.
- Research and review show service manuals, rules, and regulations for tradeshows and events to ensure a smooth and compliant event experience.
- Prepare and complete 'show service' orders for client events. This includes interacting with third party vendors as necessary to meet client needs and objectives as well as soliciting and reviewing bids for various services.
- Prepare, organize and distribute pertinent information and documents related to client projects (e.g. timelines, schedules, purchasing orders, estimates, invoices, etc.).
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal departments as well as outside vendors. This includes addressing issues or delays in a project as well as communicating client feedback.
- Track and reconcile individual expenses for each project.
- Develop working knowledge of clients' exhibit assets as well as their yearly trade show and event schedules.
- Utilize knowledge of clients' exhibit assets and schedules to independently execute recurring projects that have minimal changes.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse team to manage and document client product inventory for shows and events as needed.
- Interact with clients and provide day to day support as needed.
- Work independently and with little supervision at times.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ability to follow through and meet deadlines is a must.
- Proactive and able to problem solve and work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and other internal software/systems.
- Ability to manage a project budget, ensuring costs stay within the approved estimate.
- Ability to make decisions independently and with initiative.
- Anticipate obstacles and have a sense of urgency.
- Travel to client tradeshow/events required with ability to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Communications, or related field or relative experience.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of account management/project management experience.
- Prior experience in trade show or event management is a plus.
