Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and rehabilitative techniques
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting plans of care as needed
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare team members for coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Uphold a positive, motivating environment to support patient recovery and outcomes
Requirements:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Active Connecticut Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one
- Strong clinical skills in orthopedic, neurological, or outpatient rehabilitation settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and staff
- Compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented professional demeanor
