Reports To: Maintenance Manager

Internal and/or External Posting: both

Shift (day, night, or flexible): M-F 6-2:30, with occasional after-hours variable shifts

Who We’re Looking for

We’re looking for a Custodian to support our company initiatives by maintaining a clean and healthy facility. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detailed and efficient with a demonstrated ability to properly prioritize their daily work.

What you’ll be doing:

With the use of tools, your experience, and industry standards you will…

• Perform general cleaning of the building and keep itmaintainedand in good condition.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Clean andstockrestrooms.
• Clean up spills withappropriate equipment.
• Perform minor repairs.
• Collect anddisposeof trash.
• Complete tasksin a timely mannerwith minimal supervision.
• Keepcleaning supplies in stock.
• Works with a contract cleaning service when necessary.
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
• Carries out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects.
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Stock andmaintainsupply rooms.
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff.
• Followall health and safety regulations.
• Perform other relatedduties asassigned by management.

Experience and Education Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Skills

• Ability to manage your time efficiently.
• Work well when supervisors are not present.
• Handle basic maintenance, building repairs, cleaning, and other janitorial work.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
• Able to use basic cleaning equipment.
• Able to, or willing to, safelyoperatea forklift
