Job DetailsJob Location: Kentucky Campus - Wilmore, KY 40390ASBURY THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY announces a faculty position in New Testament, on its Wilmore Campus, commencing July 2027. The initial appointment is for three years, renewable, tenure-track. Rank is open. The position involves teaching six courses per year distributed across the Wilmore campus, extension sites, and online. Asbury Theological Seminary is a confessional seminary in the Wesleyan tradition, and enthusiastic agreement with the Seminary’s confessional and ethos statements is essential. Preference will be given to those who demonstrate effectiveness or promise in classroom instruction, including online and hybrid formats; demonstrated scholarly achievements or evidence of capacity and commitment to make a scholarly contribution within one’s field; demonstrated ability or promise regarding collegial relations and contribution as a member of a theological faculty. Those with specialization in or a solid background in Second Temple Judaism are especially encouraged to apply. Teaching delivery systems and hybrid residency locations are established by the needs of the School of Biblical Interpretation and Asbury Global, which manages instructional sites located in Orlando, Tampa, Memphis, Tulsa, and Colorado Springs.
