Job DetailsJob Location: Cleveland Division - Willoughby, OH 44094Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $26.52 - $30.89 HourlyJob Shift: 1st ShiftJob Category: OperationsThe Hot Isostatic Press (HIP) Supervisor will supervise and schedule production so that parts are properly run and production goals are met; know and operate all hydrogen belt furnaces, deep freeze, air stress, temper and vacuum furnaces to ensure that proper cycles are run.  Supervise, train and coach production team members.  Ensure that all production activities are conducted in a safe manner.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES   Know how to operate all equipment in department. Understand the control PLC systems for the equipment and how to restart all equipment if power failure.  Understand how to effectively respond and manage alarms generated. Communicate and provide updates to customers as needed.  Attend production focused key customer meetings to communicate issues and serve their needs.  Schedule production slots for customers’ parts. Follow the schedule to meet customer requirements and prioritize department based on needs of key customer(s). Load and unload HIP(s) per customer specifications. Ensure that proper furnace cycles are run per the customer specifications. Monitor all equipment frequently during shift assignment utilizing WonderWare effectively.   Maintain lot control when running equipment. Maintain all logbooks assigned to the department. Ensure completed work gets shipped back to customer in a timely manner.  Create and cover team member documentation and training records in a timely manner.  Coordinate all new hire on the job training for HIP team members.  Coach team members, as needed, to ensure a well-trained and knowledgeable team.  Manage all team members in department.  Assist with check-in and order writing of incoming work as needed.  Report equipment problems to maintenance using tagging procedure, log notes, and maintenance requisitions. Responsible for ensuring timely completion of all preventive maintenance activities and equipment calibrations. Report deviations from specifications to Process Engineering Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Shift Manager, Production Manager and/or Plant Manager. Maintain communication between all plant and office personnel. Maintain high standards for safety, security and housekeeping through appropriate use of management techniques, and discipline in accordance with company policy and shop rules and regulations. Ensure that those in your department maintain high productivity and quality standards. Monitor performance of production team members and discipline if necessary. Ensure that all production activities are conducted in a safe manner. Help in the investigation of all injury and near-miss incidents.  Establish and maintain strong safety awareness in their production area and among all personnel. Assist with other duties as assigned. Ability to travel which may include overnight stays of one or more nights for the above-listed activities.         QualificationsKnowledge: Requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of basic mechanical principles and basic math. Knowledge of computers and programmable controls; understanding ladder logic is preferred Supervisory experience preferred   Qualifications: Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen, this includes THC. Valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record in compliance with Paulo’s Vehicle Use Policy.
