Vaxxinova US is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Technician to join our Small Autogenous Lab team in Willmar, MN. 

About the role: As a key member of the small autogenous (custom) lab, the Production Technician is responsible for all aspects of manufacturing vaccine using proprietary SRP technology. This critical role will be engaged in production, process improvement, and the support functions necessary to ensure vaccine delivery to customers. 

Shift: Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm

Main responsibilities: 

  • Operation of production equipment including centrifuges, filtration systems, bacterial growth flasks, high pressure homogenizers etc 
  • Disassembly, cleaning and reassembly of equipment
  • Preparation of liquid media used during processes
  • Preparation and bottling of final vaccine lots
  • Assisting other technicians with troubleshooting and solving technical problems
  • Documentation of all work completed for vaccine production and maintenance of records associated with processes
  • Assisting other manufacturing departments when schedule permits
  • Maintenance of a clean work environment to assure sterility.
  • Promote safety in all areas of work, professional courtesy, and a positive work environment within the company

Qualifications and Capabilities

  • Basic math skills required
  • General proficiency with MS Office
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal, written, and record keeping skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and multi-task
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems
  • Ability to work on equipment while standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting required; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma/certificate required, A.S. degree preferred.
  • One (1) to two (2) years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
