Summit Healthcare Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatrician to join one of our clients, a highly regarded pediatric long-term care facility serving children with complex and medically fragile conditions.
This is a unique opportunity for a physician who is passionate about caring for children with significant medical needs and values working as part of a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical team. The Pediatrician will play an integral role in the ongoing care of pediatric residents, helping ensure continuity, quality, and thoughtful, individualized care.
Responsibilities- Provide pediatric medical care for medically fragile children in a 122-bed long-term care facility.
- Collaborate closely with nurse practitioners and registered nurses across a four-unit facility.
- Support ongoing assessment, treatment planning, and care coordination for pediatric residents with complex health needs.
- MD or DO degree.
- Active state medical license in good standing.
- Board certification or board eligibility in pediatrics.
- Experience caring for medically complex pediatric patients in long-term care settings.
- Experience collaborating with nurse practitioners, nurses, and interdisciplinary clinical teams.
- Experience communicating with families, caregivers, and clinical staff in long-term pediatric care.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- 3 years of experience working with critically ill children is a plus.
