As an Interior Designer supporting Cleveland Clinic in Florida, you will assist and collaborate with the Design Studio team in the development of low to mid-complexity facility projects across the enterprise (renovation and new construction) and the recapitalization of existing facilities. Through collaboration with consulting planners, architects and interior designers, you will assist in managing the design intent of the project, participate in the development of budgets, schedules and determining the scope of work and assist on a variety of assignments requiring skills in all conventional aspects of architectural and interior design. This includes investigation, evaluation and documentation of existing conditions as well as the development of potential design solutions that best meet client's needs. 

This is an ideal role for an individual who knows architecture, project and process management and has the skills and ability to influence, collaborate and communicate with diverse levels and backgrounds from C-Suite executives to Clinical leaders and outside vendors. A caregiver in this position works Monday-Friday from 8:00AM – 5:00PM, with flexibility needed on start and end times based on project schedules. 

*This caregiver may work out of any Florida-based CCF Hospital* 

The ability to travel between Broward and Indian River Counties on a regular basis is required. 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

• Organize assignments, goals, schedules, people and processes and assess facility and space requests, inclusive of furniture requirements. 

• Assist in preparation and development of space programs for various size projects that may require new construction, renovation or no construction. 

• Work with consulting architects and interior designers to ensure that project objectives and design concepts are translated into a functional building design. 

• Educate health system stakeholders on industry trends in interior design. 

• Assist in walkthroughs, field verification and project scope documentation. 

• Perform furniture planning, finish and material selections for clinical, research, educational, administrative and support areas, including configuration or renovation of existing space and new construction. 

• Create and document ideas in 2 and 3 dimensions to portray initial concepts.   

• Prepare and present information including projects, design guidelines, trends and special studies internally and externally. 

• Assist in the development of furniture specifications, coordination with manufacturers and suppliers. 

 Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or Healthcare Facilities Planning and Design 

• Healthcare facility planning experience including developing and coordinating materials, finishes and furniture for projects (expansion, renovation and/or new projects) 

• Two years of professional experience, which may include internship experience 

• General knowledge of building codes, ADA requirements and FGI Guidelines 

• Knowledge of architecture and healthcare planning to develop practical concepts/solutions and assist with project budgets and schedules 

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, self-motivated and ability to adapt quickly to project needs 

• Basic verbal and written communication skills 

• Ability to exhibit knowledge of building design, systems, and construction 

• Knowledge of design principles, application of color, materials and aesthetic form to develop conceptual design solutions based off programming and planning concepts 

• Ability to conceptualize space, understand operations and workflow 

• Advanced sketching, rendering, and interior architecture detailing skills 

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit skills, Enscape, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suites and Microsoft Products (PPT, Excel, Word) 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: 

• National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) Certified 

• Experience within a healthcare environment 

• Architecture experience
