As a Slot Performance Manager, you will provide leadership, direction, and technical oversight for the Slot Performance Department. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with gaming regulations, company policies, and internal controls while driving operational excellence, machine performance, team development, and guest satisfaction. This position oversees slot performance personnel and supports the overall integrity, maintenance, and profitability of gaming operations throughout the property.
Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and develop Slot Performance Supervisors, Senior Slot Technicians, Slot Technicians, and Slot Bench Technicians.
- Ensure compliance with all gaming regulations, company policies, internal controls, and departmental procedures.
- Maintain accountability and control of sensitive keys and machine access documentation.
Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, succession planning, and performance evaluations for departmental personnel. - Oversee slot machine maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, installations, conversions, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Monitor gaming systems, machine communications, and equipment performance to ensure operational integrity and maximum uptime.
- Establish departmental operational goals and monitor achievement of performance, service, and efficiency objectives.
- Support budget planning, expense control, forecasting, and operational effectiveness initiatives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical degree, electronics training, or related certification preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years of slot operations, slot technology, gaming systems, or related technical experience required.
- Minimum two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of slot machine maintenance, gaming systems, casino operations, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, coaching, and team-development skills.
- Experience managing operational priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume gaming environment.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex gaming equipment and operational issues.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Louisiana Gaming License.
- Move throughout all areas of the casino property.
