Essential Responsibilities:
- Works safely, enforces strict adherence to safe operating procedures including but not limited to enforcement of lockout/tryout procedures and corrects any unsafe conditions identified during the course of work.
- Plans and coordinates planned maintenance outages to meet overall operating goals.
- Coordinates project management tasks.
- Interfaces with external contractors and suppliers and coordinates contractor work activities and performance within the facility.
- Assists with the evaluation of process equipment using technical expertise, knowledge of operational performance, and process demands.
- Assures functionality and reliability of plant mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
- Assures maintenance program will sustain reliability and performance of equipment.
- Trains operators and technicians to properly troubleshoot and repair mechanical hydraulic equipment within plant. Coordinates their activities.
- Remains current on technology advancement within industry and recommends upgrade of equipment and process as deemed appropriate.
Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a technical area preferred. Minimum of 3 - 5 years of related experience. Strong technical, troubleshooting, and organizations skills desired.
