The Advanced Transportation Analyst is responsible for organizing and overseeing the transportation of oversized gas engines and related project shipments to customers and external warehouse locations. This role serves as a key point of coordination between internal teams and external logistics partners, ensuring timely, compliant, and efficient shipment execution. The position also supports continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics processes, digital tools, and reporting.
What you’ll do:
Coordinate and manage domestic and international shipments of specialized oversize gas engines and related equipment to customer sites
Plan, schedule, and monitor deliveries for customer projects to external warehouses and storage locations
Prepare, review, and maintain shipping and transportation documentation in compliance with applicable regulations and internal company policies
Act as a primary liaison between Operations, Project Management, external 3PL service providers, carriers, and freight forwarders
Track shipment status and help resolve transportation issues to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
Support process improvement, digitalization, and reporting initiatives within the logistics and shipping function
What you’ll have:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred but not required
5+ ears of experience in specialized shipping, transportation, or logistics coordination
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Customer-focused team player with the ability to work effectively across functions and with international stakeholders
Ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and business processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP or transportation management systems preferred
