About the Role:

The PCB Assembler-Soldering role is critical in the manufacturing and assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs) that are essential components in a wide range of electronic devices. This position involves the precise and skilled soldering of electronic components onto PCBs, ensuring strong electrical connections and mechanical stability. The successful candidate will contribute to the quality and reliability of the final product by following detailed assembly instructions and adhering to industry standards. Attention to detail and the ability to work with small, delicate components are paramount to prevent defects and ensure optimal performance. Ultimately, this role supports the production process by delivering high-quality assembled PCBs that meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform soldering of electronic components onto printed circuit boards following detailed work instructions and blueprints.
  • Inspect solder joints and assembled PCBs for quality and compliance with industry standards using visual and microscopic inspection tools.
  • Identify and troubleshoot assembly defects or issues, making necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure product quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to comply with safety and quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in PCB assembly and soldering techniques, including through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT).
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise soldering work.
  • Must be able to distinguish colors, fine circuit detail, and tones. 
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and proper handling of electronic components.
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs. 
  • Certification in IPC-A-610 or IPC J-STD-001 standards for soldering and electronic assembly.is a plus
