Job Description

As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol - Overnights in Waterloo, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, identify and report unusual activity or hazards, and document security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and support a professional, orderly environment through visible presence and timely communication.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Preferred: Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Preferred: Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
