ECS is seeking a TS-cleared Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support one of our mission critical programs for the Department of Justice in Washington DC.

 

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

 

Salary Range: $106,000 - $131,000

 

We offer the chance to support the world’s finest law enforcement organization and help the people that keep us safe. In this job you will support OCIO FISMA audit readiness and compliance reviews by identifying gaps, organizing evidence, and driving corrective-action closure.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leads security engineering and/or assessment support for complex FBI systems.
  • Guides categorization, control implementation, secure architecture, SSP technical content, data flows, remediation strategies, assessment readiness, and continuous monitoring.
  • Provides technical thought leadership, mentoring, and process improvement to strengthen quality, scalability, and team performance.
Qualifications
  • US citizenship with active Top Secret clearance
  • 8 Years of experience
  • Advanced proficiency aligned to Security Architect (652) of DOD 8140 requirements:
    • Master's Degree in one of the following disciplines (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering            
    • OR One of the following Certifications (CCNP Enterprise, CISM, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCIA, GDSA or GICSP
  • 8 years in secure design, analysis and test
  • 8 years applying security safeguards, methods, and standards
  • 8 years creating or updating security test plans
  • Must meet applicable FBI security, clearance, training, background, facility-access, and polygraph requirements
