Summary:
The Program Coordinator, Student Internship Program manages the day-to-day operations and student-facing logistics of the AU Ready Undergraduate Internship Pledge initiative. This role ensures smooth implementation of funding processes, student participation requirements, professionalism coursework coordination, and operational workflows. The Program Coordinator serves as a primary point of contact for students and campus partners and plays a critical role in tracking data, monitoring compliance, and supporting program growth.
The Program Coordinator resolves routine issues independently and escalates exceptions, policy questions, and higher-level decisions to the Associate Director.
Essential Functions:
1.) Program Operations & Student Support
Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Internship Pledge Program, including student onboarding, eligibility verification, career course access, and funding workflows.
Support students through application, placement, funding, and completion processes and serve as the primary point of contact for student inquiries.
Coordinate required professionalism coursework and foundational program activities.
2.) Administrative & Logistical Coordination
Manage scheduling, communications, deadlines, and documentation.
Process funding requests, reimbursements, stipends, and compliance documentation.
Coordinate with Financial Aid, payroll, and student accounts as needed.
Maintain detailed program documentation and standard operating procedures.
3.) Data Management & Assessment Support
Track student participation, funding distribution, outcomes, and program milestones.
Maintain databases, dashboards, and reports.
Support assessment, surveys, and program evaluation efforts.
4.) Communications & Outreach
Draft and manage student communications, marketing materials, web content, and FAQs.
Coordinate outreach campaigns to promote awareness and engagement.
Support presentations, workshops, and information sessions.
5.) Student & Graduate Assistant Supervision
Supervise graduate assistants and/or student employees supporting program operations.
Train and onboard student staff.
Assign tasks and provide feedback to support professional development.
Supervisory Responsibility:

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Full-time.
35 hours per week.
Hybrid 1 work modality (3 - 4 days on campus).
Salary Range:
$30.22 - $32.97 per hour.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
1 - 3 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree.
2 - 4 years of relevant experience.
