Must work independently and as a team as required to achieve production, quality, and quantity goals. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: All Levels: • At all times ensures safety is a top priority while performing any part of your job. • Execute instructions given by department Supervisor and/or Lead. • Observes operation of machines to develop understanding. • Assist supervisor/lead by loading jobs to the specified location. • Establish a cordial and professional relationship with fellow employees. • Assist other employees with day-to-day tasks as needed. • Understand and follow the proper workflow of assigned jobs. • Transport completed work to the next department. • Obtain and maintain forklift certification. • Obtain and maintain overhead crane certification. • Complete monthly tool calibration as required. • Other duties as assigned Level 2: • Trained on packet tracking process and consistently completes this process without supervision • Correctly disposes of used blast media when needed • Train in sieve testing of blast media and completes testing as required POSITION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be able to operate a forklift. o Level 2: Highschool Diploma or GED and 15 to 18 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to operate a forklift. • Language Skillso Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blue prints and procedure manuals. Ability to write short routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with other employees of the organization. • Mathematical Skills o Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. • Reasoning Abilities o Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, blue print or diagram form. Protective clothing provided by the company is to be worn at all times such as coveralls or shop jacket unless approved by management.
