Ann Kearney Astolfi, DMD, OC, is seeking a dependable and motivated Front Office Assistant/Dental Assistant Floater to join our periodontal practice in Bethlehem, PA. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable supporting both the front desk and clinical team. We provide a welcoming work environment and hands-on training to help new team members feel confident in their professional home.   • Part-time
  • Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
  • 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, check in, and check out patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls and respond to office voicemails and emails
  • Assist the Office Manager and front desk team with daily administrative and patient care responsibilities
  • Help maintain a full and organized patient schedule
  • Assist patients with understanding their recommended treatment
  • Calculate fees for dental treatment and coordinate patient financial agreements
  • Respond to patient billing and financial inquiries or direct questions to the appropriate team member
  • Break down, clean, and prepare surgical treatment rooms
  • Clean and sterilize dental instruments according to established safety protocols
  • Support the clinical team as needed throughout the day
  • Help maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming office environment
  • Assist with additional front office or clinical duties as requested

Qualifications

  • Prior dental front office or dental assisting experience is preferred
  • Current dental X-ray license is a plus
  • Friendly, professional, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Strong verbal communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to jump in and assist wherever needed
  • Commitment to providing every patient with an excellent experience
