Office Assistant - Fink's Jewelers (Virginia Beach, VA)

Position: Part-Time Office Assistant

Location: Hilltop North, Virginia Beach, Virginia

Pay: $18.00-$20 per hour, plus participation in the office staff repair commission program

Key Responsibilities

• Support sales activities using the POS system
  • Process sales transactions
  • Handle layaways and special orders
• Maintain customer records, special order files, and layaway files
• Processing incoming and outgoing inventory transfers
• Prepare packages and documentation for shipping and mail
• Manage jewelry repair intake and follow-up
  • Communicate repair estimates
  • Track completion and shipping dates
  • Notify customers when repairs are complete
• Assist customers in person and by phone
• Research transactions using the company's ERP software
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable learning and using POS and ERP systems
• Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks accurately

Schedule

• Favorable retail hours Monday-Saturday
• Closed Sundays
