Essential Job Duties: 

1. Greets & assists customers to provide information and access to appropriate resources. 

2. Answers all telephone calls within the clinic, transferring calls and/or recording messages accurately. 

3. Schedules all clinic visits for patient appointments 

4. Prepares, manages and distributes documents (i.e. mail, correspondence, forms, requisitions, etc.). 

5. Maintains the patient’s medical record in an accurate and timely manner.

6. Registers all clinic visits, verifying guarantor information and activating accounts. 

7. Maintains records and filings systems (physical and electronic). 

8. Completes patient clinic charges, collects payment for services, prepares receipts and sends payment and reports to billing each day. 

9. Performs general office duties including ordering of supplies and items necessary for departmental operations. 

10. Reviews operating practices and procedures to maximize organizational efficiency and departmental improvement. Secondary Job Duties: 1. Completes other duties and special projects as assigned.
