About the Role:
SERVPRO of Douglasville/Carrollton/Troup-Coweta Counties is looking for an experienced Asbestos Supervisor to join our growing team in Villa Rica, GA. This is a critical leadership role where you'll oversee safe and compliant asbestos abatement projects while making a real difference in the communities we serve. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct asbestos abatement crews on residential and commercial job sites
- Ensure full compliance with EPA, OSHA, and state regulations throughout all abatement projects
- Conduct pre-job site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety briefings
- Oversee proper containment setup, PPE usage, and decontamination procedures
- Coordinate waste disposal and maintain accurate project documentation and chain-of-custody records
- Communicate project progress and updates to project managers and clients
- Train and mentor abatement technicians on safe work practices and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Valid Georgia Asbestos Supervisor license or certification required
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in asbestos abatement or environmental remediation
- Strong knowledge of EPA NESHAP, OSHA 1926.1101, and Georgia EPD regulations
- Proven supervisory or crew leadership experience in the field
- Current AHERA Supervisor/Contractor certification preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities on active job sites
