This role requires strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of business processes to lead teams and optimize performance. The Operations Leader plays a key role in executing the company's goals, improving productivity, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Execution Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals. Create and manage budgets, forecasts, and KPIs for operational performance. Lead initiatives to scale operations sustainably and efficiently. Process Optimization Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements across departments. Develop SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and ensure adherence. Monitor workflows and propose automation or technology solutions where appropriate. Team Leadership & Development Lead and mentor department managers and cross-functional teams. Recruit, train, and retain high-performing staff. Promote a positive, accountable, and high-performance culture. Vendor & Partner Management Oversee supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage service level agreements. Ensure vendor compliance with operational standards and risk mitigation protocols. Risk Management & Compliance Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to industry standards. Identify potential risks to operations and develop contingency plans. Data & Reporting Analyze operational data to inform decision-making and strategic planning. Provide regular reports to executive leadership on key performance indicators. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (MBA preferred). 7+ years of progressive experience in operations or related roles. Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing teams and complex projects. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficient in ERP systems, project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (Spanish-English) communication skills preferred. Experience in construction management and logistics. Six Sigma, Lean, or PMP certification. Experience with organizational change management.
