Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Â
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Perform continual surveillance of multiple monitors.
Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately. Identifies and corrects for artifacts.
Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
Tests equipment for proper working order. Reports on equipment problems to the supervisor.
Review and comply with LifePoint Code of Conduct and all relevant Company and Division policies and procedures.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Required
License: N/A
Certifications: Handle with Care (HWC) within 6 months of hire/transfer
