At Enbridge, we safely deliver the energy people rely on every day. We're looking for a safety-focused and dependableĀ Field Operator IIĀ to join our Utilities & Power Operations team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment while helping maintain operational excellence across our field assets. What You Will Do:

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance, safety, and operating condition of production equipment within your assigned area.

  • Track and record pressures, temperatures, flow rates, liquid levels, and other operating data to support safe and efficient operations.

  • Analyze equipment performance and operating trends, recommending or taking appropriate corrective action when required.

  • Maintain accurate field records, operational reports, and equipment documentation.

  • Measure liquid storage tanks and report volumes in accordance with company policies and procedures.

  • Operate and troubleshoot pneumatic controllers, safety devices, pumps, and related field equipment.

  • Perform maintenance activities, including rebuilding or replacing pumps used for injection, heat transfer, and dehydration processes.

Who You Are:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Minimum of five years of Field Operator experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Strong knowledge of production equipment operations and applications.

  • Knowledge of pressurized vessel safety concepts and safe operating practices.

  • Experience using pneumatic pumps, hand tools, and power tools.

  • Basic computer proficiency and experience using operational software and systems.

  • Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and make sound operational decisions.

  • Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in oil and gas production, utilities, power generation, or related industrial operations.

  • Mechanical maintenance experience with field equipment and pumping systems.

  • Experience working in safety-sensitive operating environments.

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily field-based work performed outdoors in varying weather conditions.

  • Exposure to heat, cold, dust, fumes, grease, oil, and industrial operating environments.

  • Regular work around pressurized equipment, pipelines, vessels, and valves.

  • Requires standing, walking, climbing, lifting, and performing hands-on maintenance activities.

  • Occasional travel may be required.

  • You will undergo various background screenings that include but is not limited to 5-year driving record, criminal check and a company sponsored medical.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Include but are not limited to Grasping, kneeling, light-moderate lifting (objects up to 50 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read the fine print), hearing requirement. Mobility to walk in outdoor conditions that occasionally involve uneven and slippery terrain and to enter and exit excavations. Agility can ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and other devices using feet, legs, and/or hands and arms.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Salary:

  • Ranges from $39.05–$45.68 per hour USD for US locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.

  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
