The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the rail and truck shipments in connection with port/terminal operations and in support of customer wood pulp supply chain requirements.Â

Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinate rail and truck shipment planning and scheduling with ports/terminals and trans-loaders in collaboration and in support of customer wood pulp supply chains.
- Operate the SSA WMS in support of shipment scheduling and posting of completed shipments.
- Assist with boxcar ordering and monitor inbound reports.
- Schedule vehicle loading at ports/ terminals, trans-loaders, and monitor fulfillment.
- Way-billing of railcars.
- Shipment status reporting, shipment documentation, inventory reconciliation as assigned, and reporting.
- Provide customer service responses for incoming calls.
- Provide backup and support other Logistics Coordinators on an as-needed basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 10+ years of prior work experience in the same field and demonstrate good knowledge of job responsibilities.
- Experience in breakbulk cargo marine terminal operations, rail and truck transportation, and warehousing/distribution.
- Experience and proficiency with SSA computerized WMS.
- Must be proficient in Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication skills, including the composition of memos, draft letters, and communicating effectively on the phone and in person.

- Â Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment.
- Exposure to computer screens.
- The noise level in the work environment is occasional.

Pay Range:Â $16.23 - 20.29 per hour
The posted compensation range is based on the applicable geographic market for the position and may vary depending on factors such as related experience and skill set. Final compensation will be determined based on these items and other relevant factors.
