Talent Acquisition Specialist- Full Time, Human Resource/Administration (Harrah's SoCal)

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent to support organizational growth and workforce needs. This role partners closely with hiring managers to deliver an exceptional candidate experience while managing the full-cycle recruitment process. The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven recruiter with strong sourcing, interviewing, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates internal and external recruitment efforts including reviewing open requisitions
• Conducts interviews for exempt and non-exempt positions and makes recommendations to hiring supervisors and managers accordingly 
• Trains new supervisors/managers on proper hiring/interviewing procedures and process 
• Assists in educating our external network and community members on job openings and requirements
• Assists in the review of request for transfers and applications to ensure both meet requirements of job desired 
• Place job advertisements as necessary 
• Promptly responds to all employee and applicant inquiries in a courteous and professional manner
• Attend onsite and offsite recruitment and networking events
• Role models Family Style Service
• Adheres to all department/company policies and procedures
• Works closely with department managers to identify staffing needs 
• Adheres to Human Resources confidentiality policies
• Maintains partnership and strong communication with the Rincon Tribal Gaming Commission 

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience recruiting in a Human Resources/recruiting role or leading recruitment efforts within an operational environment preferred
• Previous hospitality/customer service experience required
• Excellent technical skills (proficiency in Microsoft Suite) 
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 21 years of age 
• Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino
• Must be able to lift items up to 10 pounds
• Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations
• Must be able to handle multi-tasks simultaneously 
• Must be able read, write, speak, and understand English 
• Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues      

Salary: Starting at $65k per year, depending on experience.
