What you will do as an Clinical Documentation and Workflow Auditor:

  • The Oasis Workflow Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for overseeing quality measures and data to ensure that submitted information aligns with OASIS guidance and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct reviews of OASIS assessments in accordance with best practice guidelines.Evaluate quality and process measure outcomes using advanced data mining software.
  • Improve ancillary services by analyzing assessments to foster positive patient outcomes.
  • Detect inconsistencies and errors in clinical documentation, reporting findings to the Quality/Education teams.
  • Take part in Quarterly Quality Record Reviews.
  • Work alongside the education team to provide quarterly OASIS training. Participate in quality and rehospitalization meetings, assessing clinician scorecards and formulating corrective action plans as needed.
  • Perform audits to ensure adherence to all regulations governing home health and the appropriate use of services.

What are we are looking for in a Clinical Documentation and Workflow Auditor:

  • Current Pennsylvania RN license.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of home health experience with progressive responsibilities.
  • OASIS certification is recommended; if not currently certified, must obtain within one year.
  • Knowledge of agency policies, federal and state regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with evidence of leadership activities.
  • Proficient in home health computer documentation systems.
  • Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and insurance as required by state law.
