Office Manager
Valdosta, GA | Full-Time | Exempt | Mon–Fri, Office Hours
Sunset Farm Foods, Inc. is a fourth-generation, family-owned meat processing and sausage company in Valdosta, Georgia, in business since 1918. We're looking for an experienced, detail-driven leader to oversee our office, payroll, and financial support operations — someone who can manage a team, keep AR/AP and payroll running smoothly, and coordinate accurate inventory tracking across our office, production, and shipping departments.
What You'll Do
- Supervise the Assistant Office Manager and AR/AP staff, and oversee daily office operations.
- Manage and administer payroll, including special handling for DOT-regulated drivers.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Oversee production and shipping inventory tracking, resolving discrepancies as they arise.
- Manage IRP/IFTA filings, fuel tax reporting, and related compliance documentation.
- Support the HR Manager with AAP coordination and employee documentation.
- Coordinate across plant operations, corporate staff, and leadership to keep the business running smoothly.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field).
- 5+ years of Office Management, Accounting, Payroll, or administrative leadership experience.
- Manufacturing, inventory, or multi-department operational experience preferred.
- Experience with ADP or similar payroll systems.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and financial accuracy skills.
- High attention to detail and confidentiality.

The normal work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday work may be required based on business needs and will be scheduled as necessary. This position is classified as exempt under applicable federal and state wage and hour laws. As a salaried, exempt employee, you are expected to meet the responsibilities and performance expectations of the role, which may require working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including evenings, weekends, and additional hours as business conditions require. The salary for this position is intended to compensate for all hours worked in the performance of job duties. As an exempt employee, you are not eligible for overtime compensation.
