Are you a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys solving technical issues and keeping automated systems running smoothly? Element Logic is looking for a Resident Maintenance Technician to support our Service & Maintenance team at University Park, Illinois.

Element Logic is looking for a hands-on and safety-focused Resident Maintenance Technician to support our Service & Maintenance team at an assigned client project. In this role, you will help keep the facility and automated systems operating reliably by performing mechanical and/or electrical maintenance activities, supporting daily operations, reporting incidents or risk factors, and following company and client safety standards. This is a great opportunity for someone with industrial maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting, working in a fast-paced distribution center environment, and being part of a collaborative team focused on keeping operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Report on the use of spare parts, consumables, tools, etc.

  • Report requirements for tools needed to perform tasks.

  • Inform the supervisor about updates, incidents, risk factors, etc.

  • Perform activities in accordance with company standards and regulations.

  • Use the maintenance management system.

  • Inform the supervisor of any deviation from planned activities due to client requests.

  • Ensure cleanliness and order of the facilities under the company’s responsibility.

  • Take care of PPE and corporate clothing, informing the supervisor when they are worn out, unusable, or lost.

  • Comply with safety standards defined by the company and the client.

  • Adhere to the work schedule assigned by management.

  • Support the Quality Management System.

  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company standards.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Education: Technical degree (mid-level or higher) in maintenance, industrial mechanics, electromechanics, or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in maintenance within industrial or automated environments (e.g., distribution centers, logistics, or material handling systems).

  • Availability: Willingness to work shifts, including weekends or on-call support if required.

  • Knowledge: Industrial mechanics and electromechanics.

  • Experience with automated systems (conveyors, sorters, divertors, etc.) is a plus.

  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 51 pounds (23 kg)

  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, face protection, respirator, etc.)

  • Ability to work in a Distribution Center environment

Location: University Park, IL

Start date: To be agreed upon

Form of contract: Permanent employment

Available Shifts:

2nd Shift (Monday-Friday) between 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM

Weekend Day Shift (Thursday-Sunday) between 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
