Responsibilities:
  • The clinical pharmacist I optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost-effective pharmaceutical care including drug dispensing, IV admixture program, and providing drug information.
  • Works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.
Qualifications:

Job Requirements: 

  • B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

  • ACLS certification required for attending Code Blue.
  • Completion of the TSBP educational requirements in the field of compounding sterile preparations OR must be capable of completing requirements within 90 days of hire date.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
  • One year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
