This is for a Mobile Technician.  Repairs and other related work will be performed at the customers location and/ or other off-site locations.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Diagnose and repair assigned vehicles in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Verify repair is complete and fixes original customer complaint.
  • Notify shop foreman of other potential issues associated with vehicle.
  • Punches in and out of job costing program to ensure accurate time billed to customer.
  • Mindful of maintaining customer’s vehicle cleanliness at all times while working on vehicle.
  • Works to achieve company efficiency standards.
  • Ensures warranty parts are returned to proper department for processing.
  • Follows all established OSHA and company safety protocol to include keeping work station neat, clean, and free of debris.

 

Required Skills/ Abilities:

  • Verbal and written communication to include simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Basic computer use and navigation skills.
  • Knowledge of Heavy Duty/ Medium repair techniques.
  • Ability to learn company standards, warranty procedures, and vehicle policies.
  • Customer Service focused.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.

 

Preferred Education:

  • Associate’s degree from a two year college or trade school.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 months Heavy Duty/ Medium Duty repair work.

 

Other Preferred Qualifications:

  • Commercial Driver’s License
  • Clean MVR Record
  • Own tools
