Job DetailsJob Location: Casino - Tuolumne, CA 95379Position Type: Full Time SUMMARY:  Responsible for coordinating and administering the onboarding process for newly hired and transferring Team Members to ensure a           seamless, compliant, and engaging onboarding experience. Coordinates all pre-employment and post-employment requirements, including licensing, appointments, communications, documentation, and onboarding logistics in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.         Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to)  Serves as the primary point of contact for candidates and newly hired Team Members throughout the onboarding process.   Coordinates onboarding activities for all newly hired and transferring Team Members to ensure timely completion of pre-employment and post-employment requirements.  Schedules, tracks, and communicates required onboarding appointments, including but not limited to Tribal Gaming Agency (TGA) licensing, drug testing, background screening, Human Resources onboarding appointments, and departmental onboarding requirements.  Professionally communicates with candidates and new Team Members regarding onboarding timelines, required documentation, appointment details, contingencies, and employment requirements.  Coordinates and monitors completion of onboarding requirements to ensure Team Members are cleared and prepared to begin employment.  Facilitates onboarding paperwork and ensures completion of required employment documentation, acknowledgements, and organizational forms.  Collects and inspects proper documentation as required by USCIS for employment verification through the E-Verify system.  Creates and maintains Team Member files within the electronic file system and ensures onboarding documentation is complete and compliant.  Coordinates new hire orientation logistics, including scheduling, preparation of onboarding materials, and communication with departments.  Works collaboratively with hiring departments, managers, and external agencies to coordinate onboarding activities and maintain staffing timelines.  Performs data entry and maintains accurate records in Human Resources Information Systems and onboarding tracking logs.  Maintains onboarding reports, tracking logs, and compliance documentation for monthly reporting and auditing purposes.  Answers routine inquiries regarding onboarding processes, employment requirements, and general Human Resources information for both internal and external Guests.  Performs clerical functions and composes communications including emails, letters, memos, reports, onboarding instructions, and informational materials.  Provides excellent guest service to external and internal Guests.  Performs drug and alcohol tests for pre-employment requirements and other tests as assigned.  Provides support and coverage for other functional areas of Human Resources as needed.  Performs other duties as assigned.  Qualifications        Mandatory Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old.  Must possess a high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.  A minimum of one-year of experience in Human Resources or recruiting is preferred.  Must possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license and Black Oak Casino driver’s permit.  Must possess working knowledge of computer programs and applications.  Must possess excellent communication and writing skills.  Must be able to maintain the highly confidential nature of Human Resource work.  Must be able to communicate and work effectively with applicants and Team Members.  Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.  Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.  Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.  Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.           Physical Demands:  Must be physically able to perform all job requirements.  Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.          Work Environment: Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment.  Must be able to work in a noisy environment.  Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and special events.
