Custodial Worker - Tulsa, OK

Who You Are:

The Custodial Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the Page Belcher Federal Building in accordance with contract requirements, company standards, and applicable safety regulations. The role works as part of the facility services team to support a professional, fully operational federal facility environment.

 What You’ll Do:

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, vents, and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Empty trash and recycling containers.
• Clean offices, conference rooms, break rooms, lobbies, hallways, elevators, and stairwells.
• Spot clean walls, doors, windows, and glass.
• Operate commercial cleaning equipment.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and quality standards.
• Properly use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance issues and safety hazards.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects.
• Follow OSHA, USPS, and company policies.
• Perform limited grounds maintenance duties as operationally required, including litter removal, sweeping sidewalks, emptying exterior receptacles, light landscaping support, snow/ice mitigation when applicable, and other exterior maintenance tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Employees may be assigned duties outside their primary work area, including custodial, grounds maintenance, or other facility support functions, provided such duties are within their training, qualifications, and the requirements of the contract.

What You’ll Bring:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Commercial custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate or learn commercial custodial equipment.
• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform physical work for extended periods.
• Ability to pass required USPS background screening.

Compensation 

 Expected Pay Rate: $15.50/hr

 Versar Global Solutions provides the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the Company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location. The Company reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s status protected by local, state, or federal law.

Location Requirements

 The position will primarily work onsite.

The position is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
