HVAC / Plumbing Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC / Plumbing Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and plumbing systems in residential and/or commercial properties. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to quality workmanship and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain, and repair HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot heating, cooling, ventilation, water, drainage, and piping issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections.
- Repair or replace HVAC components, plumbing fixtures, valves, pipes, pumps, and related equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Test systems to ensure proper operation, safety, and compliance with applicable codes.
- Identify potential problems and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment conditions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow company safety procedures and local building, mechanical, and plumbing codes.
- Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and team members.
- Respond to service calls and complete work efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an HVAC Technician, Plumbing Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair equipment and systems.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to lift equipment/materials and work in confined spaces, outdoor conditions, and elevated areas as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- HVAC or plumbing trade certification/license.
- EPA 608 certification for refrigerant handling.
- Experience with residential or commercial HVAC systems.
- Experience with water heaters, boilers, pumps, gas lines, and plumbing systems.
- Knowledge of local plumbing, mechanical, and building codes.

Work Schedule
Full-time | Monday–Friday, with overtime/emergency service as needed
Compensation: Depending on experience and qualifications.
