Greeley County Family Practice is currently looking for a Clinic Medical Assistant.  We believe that exceptional healthcare starts with a truly compassionate team. The ideal candidate brings both excellent clinical skills and a warm, welcoming presence to our practice.

At Greeley County Family Practice, we care deeply about our patients and our team. We provide a warm, supportive, and collaborative work environment where your skills are valued, and your growth is encouraged. This position is full-time Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., with no weekends and no holidays.  
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
 
  • Triage patients by measuring vital signs:  pulse rate, temperature, respiratory rate, blood pressure, weight, and height.  
  • Facilitate assessments and screenings such as PHQ2/PHQ9, fall risk, smoking, alcohol and drug use, and other screenings directed by the clinic director and/or provider. Record information to update patients' charts at every visit. Document details of the visit and room the patient for the provider.
  • Provide patient care as directed by the provider: Treatments will include but are not limited to injections, oral medications, ear irrigations, foot care, concussion screenings, eye exams, Pap smears, and drug screening.
  • Assist providers with procedures beginning with laying out instruments and equipment before rooming patients.  Procedures will include but are not limited to casting/cast removals, IUD placement/removal,  lesion removals, mole/wart removals, sutures and suture removals, finger and toenail removals. Hand instruments and materials to the doctor as directed. Clean the room when the procedure is completed. 
  • Weekly and monthly Inventory checks and other compliance logs: keeping rooms stocked and ordering medications and medical supplies as needed.
  • Scanning records daily into the  EMR.
