Position Summary The Kids Director is responsible for shepherding the Kids ministry of Bayou City Fellowship | Tomball toward making a Christ-centered impact on the kids and families of our church. The mission of Bayou City Kids is to partner with parents to disciple their children to know and follow Jesus. We believe that the greatest spiritual impact on a child’s life is when the family and church come together to disciple a child. The Kids Director will lead this ministry through equipping and caring for volunteers, parents, and kids.Â
Key Responsibilities Commitment to Jesus and continually developing a heart to shepherd Tomball families toward Christlikeness Oversee and develop Kids staff - Littles Director, summer interns, residents, etc. Manage childcare workers schedules and payroll for Sunday services, Community Group childcare, and ministry childcare requests Recruit, train, manage, and communicate with Kids volunteers, including background checks and file management Review curriculum and plan for Sunday lessons. Coordinate with other BCF campus Kids teams on curriculum and ministry alignment Provide opportunities for family discipleship (family milestone classes, specific family development events, etc.) Manage Kids ministry budget Coordinate various events annually: Connect Camp, Summer activities, Easter Sunday, Baby Dedications, Mother’s Day, Christmas Eve Kids choir, and more as requested by the Campus Pastor Pastoral care as needed Other duties as assigned by the Campus Pastor

Requirements & Preferred Skills Professional ministry experience is required Reputation of working well with others and ability to create Christ-centered relationships Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to problem solve on short notice, and maintain composure in stressful situations Efficient with the following applications: Google Suite, MacOS, Planning Center, ProPresenter
