Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management, business operations, or a related field.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with data analysis, utilizing metrics to track performance and drive decision-making.
  • Experience leveraging data analysis or AI tools to build dashboards, streamline business operations, and drive cross-functional decision-making.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and executing communication strategies across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience independently managing the full lifecycle of cross-functional programs with minimal guidance.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Global Infrastructure and Energy organization is responsible to deliver the infrastructure to host and connect every machine and every user on the internet, with Carbon Free Energy (CFE). As part of the Commercial and Business Operations arm within the Global Operations for Assets and Tooling team, we are responsible to help leadership run the business, and support the strategic negotiators land deals quickly and be able to maximize our returns.

As a Business Operations Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our team's daily operational rhythm. You will build and manage essential reporting dashboards, track various business and organization metrics, and leverage AI to improve our business operations. By providing steady support for ad hoc requests and standardizing processes, you will enable our team to operate at its highest potential.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $132000 - $189000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain routine operational reports and dashboards to provide team leadership and stakeholders with clear visibility into key business metrics.
  • Manage the internal team website and training materials, ensuring all resources, documentation, and processes are accurate, organized, and easily accessible.
  • Track and reconcile approved headcount grants against open staffing requests, maintaining accurate roster data to support hiring workflows and capacity planning.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline day-to-day business operations, leveraging AI tools and standardizing basic team processes to resolve bottlenecks.
  • Provide ongoing support for daily operational tasks and ad hoc reporting requests, helping the team address immediate needs and maintain a steady operational rhythm.
