DesignĀ Document Control ManagerĀ 

SummaryĀ 

The position ofĀ DesignĀ Document Control Manager will manage and perform administrative and clerical functions related to document control procedures.Ā 

Ā 

ResponsibilitiesĀ 

  • Compiles andĀ maintainsĀ control records and related files to release blueprints, drawings, and engineering documents to production and other operating departments.Ā 

  • ExaminesĀ documents, such as blueprints, drawings, change orders, and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data.Ā Ā 

  • ConfersĀ with document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compiles required changes to documents.Ā Ā 

  • Posts changes to computerized or manual control records, releases documents, andĀ notifiesĀ affected departments.Ā Ā 

  • Maintains related files.Ā Ā 

  • May prepare requests for reproduction of documents.Ā Ā 

  • MayĀ operateĀ reproduction equipment.Ā Ā 

  • May prepare reports and memorandums.Ā 

Ā 

MinimumĀ RequirementsĀ 

  • BachelorĀ degree.Ā 

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in similar administrative positions.Ā Ā 

  • ProficiencyĀ in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ā Ā 

  • Effective communication skills in writing and typing.Ā
