Overview

The Sr. Data Associates oversees the day to day data production process and assure that the issues are resolved and production schedules are maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain annual/quarterly (GAAP/Statutory) financial statement data and calculations within an in-house network database.
  • Provide statistical analysis, data crosscheck, and associated tasks as required for production.
  • Oversee data input from source documents and correct database when inconsistent with source.
  • Perform intermediate to advanced problem solving.
  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies.
  • Analyze and assist others with analysis of insurance company Organizational charts to determine inter-company relationships.
  • Process inter-company holdings in order to consolidate group data.
  • Assist with quality assurance and associated tasks as required for production.
  • Develop, maintain and verify documentation of internal processes and guides.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 2 plus years’ experience.

Skills

• Working knowledge of Accounting principles • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office • Good oral/written communication skills • Good analytical skills • Ability to multi-task and shift quickly among assignments • Must be able to work quickly in a high-paced, repetitive environment • Good organizational skills • Strong attention to detail.
