Coming From Airline Operations? Your Skills May Transfer.
This role runs on the same muscles airline operations demands every day: tracking status in real time, keeping systems and reality in sync, and catching problems before they become delays. If you worked in:
Ground operations, ramp, or station ops — you already know what it's like to track status against the clock and flag discrepancies before they snowball.
Crew scheduling, load planning, or dispatch — you've lived in operational systems, reconciled data against what's actually happening, and kept cross-functional teams aligned under pressure.
Line maintenance, MRO, or tech records — you're used to regulated documentation, work order accuracy, and the difference between "logged" and "actually done."
Any role using Sabre, AMOS, Trax, or similar ops/maintenance systems — the specific system is different, but the discipline of "make the system match the floor" is the same one this job runs on.
We're an aerospace manufacturing facility, not an airline, but we operate with the same regulatory rigor and zero-tolerance-for-sloppy-data mindset you're used to. If that sounds familiar, we'd love to see your resume, even if your title doesn't obviously say "operations coordinator."
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Support Coordinator to support daily operations within our aerospace manufacturing facility in Tempe, AZ. This role focuses on supporting production teams by maintaining accurate data, tracking part status, and ensuring that ERP system information reflects real-time shop floor activity. You will work closely with Production, Production Control, and Operations teams to ensure consistency between what is happening on the floor and what is recorded in the system.
This position is best suited for someone with manufacturing or comparable operational experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with data, systems, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and maintain production data, work orders, and labor information in the ERP system (Visual Manufacturing preferred)
Track work orders, job status, and WIP to ensure system accuracy
Validate that system data matches shop floor activity; resolve or escalate discrepancies
Support production/labor reporting, Production Control, and NPI activities
What We're Looking For
Experience in a manufacturing, production, aviation operations, or logistics environment
Comfortable with ERP systems or structured data systems (airline ops/maintenance systems count — we'll train you on ours)
Basic Excel proficiency; strong attention to detail
Experience with work orders/schedules, labor or crew tracking, and reporting
Aerospace, aviation, or other regulated-industry experience is a strong plus
Detail-oriented, accurate, and proactive about catching issues early
Comfortable in a fast-paced shop floor environment
Strong follow-through and able to work cross-functionally
Benefits Include
Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
Paid sick leave and vacation
401(k) retirement plan
Costco membership
