Why This Role Matters

As a Commercial Lines Account Specialist, you'll help keep client service moving smoothly across the Commercial Lines Department by supporting Account Managers, Producers, and department leadership. Your work will directly impact the client experience by helping ensure requests are handled accurately, service remains uninterrupted, and team members have the support they need to succeed.

In this role, you'll partner with Small, Middle, and Large Market teams, providing operational and administrative support across a diverse commercial lines book. From processing endorsements and certificates to assisting with renewals, marketing efforts, and client inquiries, you'll play an important role in delivering responsive, high-quality service to clients and carrier partners alike.

How You'll Make an Impact

Support Commercial Lines Account Managers, Producers, and Department Managers with day-to-day servicing activities across multiple books of business.
Deliver exceptional client service by handling overflow calls, responding to inquiries, and helping resolve requests promptly and accurately.
Process endorsements, certificates of insurance, and related policy documentation while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Assist clients with claim reporting and ensure claim information is communicated to carriers in a timely manner.
Contribute to marketing, remarketing, and book rollover initiatives that help maintain strong client relationships and retention.
Help sustain seamless client service by providing coverage for team members during absences and assisting with special projects and department initiatives.

What You Bring

Day One:

Massachusetts Property and Casualty Insurance License.
Two or more years of experience in a customer service or administrative role.
Previous experience working within a Commercial Lines insurance agency.
Working knowledge of commercial lines insurance products, coverages, policies, and procedures.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems.
High school diploma or GED.

Valuable Additions:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience assisting with marketing, remarketing, renewals, or book rollover activities.
Experience supporting training initiatives or mentoring less experienced team members.
Demonstrated knowledge of carrier platforms and commercial insurance processing workflows.

Pay Range: Posted below*

*Any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with applicable state pay transparency laws, considering relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. Roles may also be eligible for a supplemental compensation, such as performance-based bonus, commission, or equity. Specific eligibility will be discussed with Talent Acquisition team.
