You will use computer or tablet systems, respond to inquiries, and help maintain an orderly environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.64 - $23.64 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and/or vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures and reception policies.
• Manage front desk access by greeting visitors, verifying identification and appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests according to established procedures.
• Monitor entry activity, maintain visitor logs and other required records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Support a professional, welcoming healthcare environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
