Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Coordination in Tarrytown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support badge-related activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Pay Rate: $26.88 - $27.88 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a healthcare and pharmaceutical location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit processes.
• Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
