The HR Data Specialist works closely with the HR Capability Center team to ensure the timely processing and integrity of the data entered into the Workday Human Capital Management System (HCM). This role will be responsible for basic foundational data maintenance in Workday.Â
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and/or approve all data pertaining to employee records (i.e., transfers, personal information, title changes, etc.) that are entered in Workday through Manager or Employee Direct Access.
- Complete pending new hire transactions in Workday HCM after the candidate is in Ready to Hire status in the ATS.
- Support execution of employee movement, employee status, payroll, benefits/leaves, Performance Check-ins, and compensation processes by maintaining accurate and on time data in Workday relevant for the above processes.
- Support the integrity of employee records and Workday data, assuring legal and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain supervisory organizations, organization assignments, and position titles in the Workday system.
- Complete weekly payroll reconciliation reviewing audit reports, analyzing discrepancies, and processing appropriate updates.
- Participate in the review of integration kickout reports from various systems and process updates in Workday based on the identified discrepancies.
- Participate on ad-hoc projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Directly participate in enhancement and improvement of the myBMS content/FAQs and Local Work Instructions (LWIs) based on the feedback received via case resolution in collaboration with functional teams.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues and escalate as appropriate.
- Make process recommendations to achieve operational excellence.
- Participate in scheduled and ad-hoc training or other learning opportunities to improve process acumen, applying the learnings to execution of the role and individual skills development as needed
- Work collaboratively within the HR team to share ideas, ownership, and accountability for driving improvements and consistency of execution for key HR processes across regions and functional areas.
- Collaborate with all functional teams to enable People Service to collectively achieve Turn-Around-Time (TAT) and First Level Resolution (FLR) goals.
Desired Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 4 years’ experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work successfully in a fast paced and continuously changing work environment
- Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Proficiency with MS Excel and a proven ability to manipulate data and an ability to learn required business systems
- Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge effectively
- Collaborates effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of Workday
- Language requirements beyond English: Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese or French
- Experience working within an HR Shared Services delivery model
- Have worked in a multi-cultural/multi-country work environment

Compensation Overview:
The starting pay range(s) listed above is for full-time employees (FTE). You may also be eligible for additional discretionary incentive cash and stock opportunities. We determine starting pay thoughtfully – carefully considering the nature of the role, required skills, work location, schedule and the knowledge and experience you bring. Final compensation is guided by pay equity principles and applicable employment laws. Compensation programs are reviewed on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted over time to reflect evolving market factors, and individual, team or Company performance.

U.S.-based exempt employees are eligible for Flexible Time Off (FTO), which provides paid time off without a set accrual limit, subject to manager approval, along with 11 paid company holidays each year.
Non-exempt employees, RayzeBio employees, and employees located in Puerto Rico receive 160 hours of paid vacation annually for new hires (subject to manager approval), 11 paid company holidays, and 3 optional holidays.
Depending on eligibility, employees may also have access to additional time-off benefits, including paid sick leave, up to two paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, and leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, or military needs.
