Role: Direct the operations of a Credit Union branch facility, ensuring the branch meets organizational, financial, operational, service, and growth plans. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Direct, develop, motivate, hire and hold accountable branch personnel; administer performance evaluations and recommend appropriate personnel actions. Initiate, foster and represent the branch in its relationships with members, sponsor organizations(s), suppliers, other financial institutions and similar groups. Manage and order vault cash and monetary instruments as required, conduct maintenance/ balances ATM, cash dispenser and night depository. Maintain department logs, complete weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and conduct audits as required. Monitor branch operating results relative to established objectives and insure that appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions. Maintain communications with main office; prepare and submit standard reports; attend scheduled management meetings. Process consumer loans and forward to the Centralized Lending Department. Upon approval, complete all necessary documents and close loan. Monitor all branch activities to insure they are in compliance with established Credit Union policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring the Branch facility maintains a professional appearance both inside and outside. Improvements in the facility should be handled in a timely manner, with prior approval from supervisor. General maintenance and upkeep should be on-going. Responsible for compliance with all credit union policies including the Bank Secrecy Act and Customer Identification Program. Perform other related duties as assigned. Performance Measurements: 1. Adhere to the Credit Union Service Standards in all interactions both internal and external as well as employing CML (Creating Member Loyalty) skills. 2. Meet with direct reports on a periodic basis (at least quarterly), notating coaching sessions and general content of sessions in performance plans and completing all performance reviews within prescribed time frames. 3. Maintain a cohesive, highly trained and motivated staff, sufficient to meet needs of members. 4. Initiate, develop and foster business partner relationships within the community by calling on potential SEG's and coordinating branch participation in community activities. 5. Ensure all Credit Union records, files and documentation are completed and forwarded to the appropriate location in a timely manner. 6. Meet or exceed the established incentive branch goals each month. Inform, train and evaluate employees to insure their established individual goals are being attained. 7. Promote a cross-sells culture within the branch on all Credit Union products, both by example and training employees to identify opportunities. 8. Develop recommendations for cost efficiencies and enhancements to products, pricing and processes by monitoring trends in operations and deposit services. 9. Qualify for, obtain and maintain annual registration in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS). 10. Qualify for and obtain a Credit Life and Disability License. 11. Offer protection products to all qualified/eligible members 100% of the time. 12. Use the action Step process 100% of the time. 13. Review and coach to Participation Tracking reports regularly. QualificationsKnowledge and Skills: Experience                                                             One year to three years of similar or related experience. Education                                                               (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the                                                                                industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in                                                                                lieu of a degree). Interpersonal Skills                                                Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive                                                                               nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts                                                                               become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or                                                                               individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas                                                                               or services to others. Other Skills                                                           Excellent communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Physical Requirements                                                       This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities: bending, stooping,                                                                               kneeling, crouching, sitting, walking, finger dexterity, feeling, repetitive motions, talking,                                                                               hearing and visual acuity. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision,                                                                              distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust                                                                               focus. As required or requested, may exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or a                                                                              negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
