Responsibilities

  • Directs and organizes program activities.
  • Writes program narratives, contracts, procedures and grants in a timely manner, as applicable.
  • Establishes program goals and objectives that support the organization's strategic plan.
  • Assures that program standards and objectives are met.
  • Leads program planning, development and implementation.
  • Identifies problems, evaluates alternatives and implements effective solutions.
  • Monitors division contracts and budget.
  • Monitors case loads and productivity of staff.
  • Ensures that staff provides coverage for crisis intervention.
  • Effectively collaborates with other AltaPointe program coordinators and outside sources.

  • Interviews and screens applicants when necessary and completes appropriate forms as outlined by Personnel Policy and procedures.
  • Provides training in the general orientaiton of the facility, policies and procedures, program operations and specific skill areas.
  • Is knowledgeable and applies personnel policies and procedures on a consistent basis.
  • Objectively completes performance evaluations on supervised staff and routes to Personnel Department on a timely basis.
  • Promotes the concept of treatment teams.  Acts as a memeber of the treatment team.
  • Provides positive and effective leadership.
  • Provides staff with consultation and supervision as needed, individually or through group staff meetings.
  • Ensures competence of staff.
  • Seeks clinical supervision and consultation as needed.
  • Accepts and employs sugggestions for improvement.
  • Actively works to enhance clinical and leadership skills.
  • Treats consumers with care, dignity and compassion.
  • Respects consumer's privacy and confidentiality.
  • Is pleasant and cooperative with others.
