SUMMARY

The Director, Mobile Service leads mobile operations nationwide, ensuring operational excellence, billing accuracy, and consistent service delivery. This role is responsible for driving strategy, process standardization, and performance across multiple locations while partnering closely with clients, operations, finance, and recruiting teams. Reporting to the Vice President, Mobile Service this role oversees Mobile Service leadership and is accountable for scaling operations, improving processes, and delivering high-quality service outcomes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads and directs Mobile Service operations across multiple markets, ensuring consistent execution and service delivery
  • Oversees and develops Mobile Service Managers and support teams, driving performance, accountability, and leadership growth
  • Partners with leadership and key clients to strengthen relationships, resolve escalations, and expand business opportunities
  • Establishes and enforces standardized processes for billing, job orders, and reporting to ensure accuracy and mitigate revenue risk
  • Analyzes operational and financial KPIs (billing accuracy, utilization, fill rates, retention) and implements performance improvements
  • Collaborates with Finance, Payroll, and GBS teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency
  • Provides strategic oversight of workforce planning, including driver allocation, utilization, and cost management
  • Leads resolution of complex operational issues, including customer escalations, service failures, and compliance risks
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and service quality
  • Manages Recruiting and Operations teams to support hiring strategy, pipeline development, and retention efforts
  • Oversees onboarding of new accounts, site expansions, and service implementations in partnership with project stakeholders
  • Ensures proper documentation, audit controls, and governance processes are in place for all client billing and operational activities

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • High School degree required. Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience accepted
  • 8–12+ years of experience in staffing, logistics, workforce management, or related operations
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing multi-site teams, large-scale operations, and managers
  • Experience supporting national strategic accounts and complex client environments
  • Demonstrated experience with financial oversight, billing processes, and operational performance management

  • Strong business and financial acumen with experience managing revenue, costs, and profitability
  • Proven ability to lead and influence across cross-functional teams and organizational levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong executive presence
  • Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience driving process improvement and operational transformation
  • Ability to analyze data and leverage insights to support decision-making
  • Strong customer relationship management and client-facing experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and workforce management systems
  • Adaptability and ability to perform in a fast-paced, evolving environment

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position directly manages Mobile Service Managers, Recruiters, and Expense personnel and may oversee additional operational leaders. This role has direct responsibility for multi-site mobile teams, including field personnel and support functions, and is accountable for overall team performance, engagement, and operational outcomes.

Salary Range: $134,800 - $168,500 annually, depending on experience and geographic location, plus eligibility for an annual bonus, subject to plan terms..
