At Annandale Village, a clean and welcoming dining environment contributes to the health, comfort, dignity, and overall experience of the Villagers we serve. The Culinary Operations Housekeeper plays an important role in maintaining safe, sanitary, and inviting kitchen and dining spaces.

Position Purpose
The Culinary Operations Housekeeper maintains Berry Dining Hall, kitchen areas, and other assigned Culinary Operations spaces in a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming condition.
This position performs routine housekeeping and sanitation responsibilities while following established food service, infection prevention, and safety practices. Through dependable service and attention to detail, the Culinary Operations Housekeeper supports a positive dining experience for Villagers and the overall effectiveness of Culinary Operations.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
Â
Cleaning & Sanitation
- Perform routine housekeeping and sanitation duties throughout Berry Dining Hall, kitchen areas, and other assigned Culinary Operations spaces.Â
- Clean, sanitize, disinfect, and maintain floors, furnishings, fixtures, restrooms, equipment, and other assigned areas according to established procedures and schedules.Â
- Maintain work areas in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive condition.Â
- Follow established cleaning schedules and promptly communicate areas requiring additional attention.Â
Â
Safety & Infection Prevention
- Follow Universal Precautions, infection prevention, sanitation, fire, and safety procedures while performing housekeeping responsibilities.Â
- Properly use, store, and maintain cleaning products, equipment, tools, and supplies.Â
- Ensure appropriate caution and safety signage is used when necessary.Â
- Identify and promptly report hazardous conditions, damaged equipment, or other safety concerns to Culinary Operations leadership.Â
- Maintain work and storage areas free from unnecessary hazards.Â
Â
Villager Support & Teamwork
- Interact with Villagers in a kind, respectful, and person-centered manner while protecting their dignity, privacy, rights, and confidentiality.Â
- Work collaboratively with Culinary Operations employees to support clean, safe, and welcoming dining and kitchen environments.Â
- Communicate housekeeping, supply, equipment, and safety needs to the appropriate team member.Â
- Participate in required orientation, training, in-service education, and staff meetings.Â
Â
Supplies & Operational Support
- Maintain housekeeping equipment, supply areas, and assigned workspaces in a clean and organized condition.Â
- Monitor housekeeping supplies and communicate replenishment needs to Culinary Operations leadership.Â
- Follow Annandale Village policies, procedures, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.Â
- Perform other duties in the best interest of Annandale Village and the Villagers we serve.Â

Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak and understand English.Â
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.Â
Â
Employment Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.Â
- To operate Annandale Village vehicles or golf carts, must have a valid Class C Georgia Driver’s License with three years of driving experience, proof of vehicle insurance, and meet Annandale Village MVR requirements.Â
- Must meet state requirements regarding GBI and FBI criminal history record checks, including fingerprinting.Â
- Must pass drug screening and tuberculosis screening.Â
- Must maintain required CPR, First Aid, training, and certifications.Â
Â
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while performing housekeeping responsibilities.Â
- Ability to use hands and arms and to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, and perform movements associated with housekeeping duties.Â
- Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment and handle cleaning supplies.Â
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and move up to 75 pounds with assistance.Â
- Ability to safely operate organizational vehicles and assist Villagers into and out of vehicles as required.Â
- Ability to perform CPR, First Aid, and emergency response duties.Â
