As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Badge Administration in Pittston, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License:

  • Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123).
  • Candidates must also hold a valid driver's license specific to the job state (C124).

• Access Control/Badge Experience:

  • Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management (B201).

• Computer/Tablet Proficiency:

  • Candidates must demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using computers or tablets for job-related tasks (B204).

• Customer Service Experience:

  • Candidates should have relevant customer service experience that aligns with the expectations of the role (B219).

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, document visitor and contractor entries, and help control access to the distribution center.
• Coordinate with site personnel regarding inbound and outbound deliveries, driver check-in procedures, and restricted-area access.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, trailer yards, loading areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
